Firstly is the great emphasis they have on family, you never see any pictures of lonely Jewish people, there's always an amazing family unit. I love the thoughts of family dinners and having a Jewish mother to teach the age old recipes she learnt from her mother, the attendance of the synagogue all together and the strong bond children always have with their parents for their whole lifetime. Beautiful.
I also love the beauty of the old wartime Jewish houses in Europe. The decor and homely feel looks amazing and I wish I could see one of these houses myself, preserved exactly as it was. There probably are quite a few left in Poland so I'm definitely going to look when I go back to Krakow.Just the same I love the art and architecture inside synagogues too, amazing.

Then we come to Jewish dress, male and female. I love the dark, almost mourning dress they wear. The women with beautiful floral headscarves, velvet and flowing skirts. The men with their beards, skull caps and long jackets. So decadent but yet so simple. Like they are still living in the clothes of their ancestors and remembering what they went through in this way. I love the images it conjures.

One great example of Jewish style I think is Elaine from Seinfeld. I love her clothes and hair. Wish I could look so effortlessly elegant. THAT HAIR!!!!

But finally the main thing I love about Jewish people is their spirit. The atrocities they have had to endure have been terrible and yet they have remained defiant and pulled through in the face of adveristy. This is why I love them and I hope everybody remembers what happened for the rest of time.
