Alice in Wonderland

Gotta love Alice. She's got the hair, the clothes, the body, the tatts, everything. I would kill to look like her. Probably because we have such similar looks clothes-wise is the reason I love her. Looks body-wise is gonna be my aim, what a beauty! She brings back punk & grunge with a feminine, glamorous edge. Those cheekbones, yum! Alice, Alice, Alice I love thee xxx

Banned In D.C.

Just watched Bad Brains live in CBGB 1982 last night and it was totally amazing. I love their fusion style 1 song melt-yr-face harcore and the next roots reggae. They were totally ace and broke so many boundaries. The one thing that worries me is their homophobic roots, due to rastafari but they have all takejn back what they said now so I can begin to forgive them. H.R leg-end and Dr Know on guitar is an absolute genius.

Trash Chique

As I said in my previous post, I am LOVING street walker style at the moment. Flashes of PVC & lace, bondage platforms, leather and sheer panels, gaudy make-up & high, high heels, it's all here girls. What I wouldn't give for some of these babies:

Phwoar & Phwoar, these babies are so gorgeous

Mr Christopher, can you do any wrong? Me no think so.

YSL Platform pumps, obvious choice maybe, but who can resist grey suede? Not me!

Purrrrr

Christian Dior s/s 10

Love all of this lacy business with PVC. I'm glad the dominatrix is getting a look in in the fashion stakes. Glitter is always a winner. It's like gothic, bad ass Barbie who turns tricks in the evening. Yowzer!

Sappho

Thou liest dead, and there will be no memory left behind
Of thee or thine in all the earth, for never didst thou bind
The roses of Pierian streams upon thy brow; thy doom
Is now to flit with unknown ghosts in cold
and nameless gloom.

Harlow, Jean Beauty Queen

Don't look back in Anger.

If you read two books for the rest of yr lives, make it these two:

Happy-Go-Lucky Girl

20's Bombshells were the epitome of womanhood. Their dark eyes and brooding looks graced our screens and even theough we couldn't hear their voices (in the beginning) we wanted to get to know them. They were usually man-eaters, with a softer side, wolves in sheeps clothing. I love the innocent looks and coy demeanour, they mean't business. From Clara the 'It' girl and her whirlwind romance with Bela Lugosi (imagine how amazing their children would have been!!!) to Louise Brooks' incapabilty to really love, their tormented and scandalous lives are fascinating. Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Louise Brooks in all her finery, Mia hair, mens suit & black lips. A true style icon.

Clara Bow, the queen of trash. Furs, gaudy make-up and diva hair make her live up to the 'It' girl monicker she was labelled with.

Let it be true!!!!

Please, let the girls from Sex & The City have gained some proper style credentials with these amazing outfits........

Kim Catrall looking totally ace in spandex, studded denim, neon leopard print & a massive bouffant. Killer.

SJP looking suspiciouly like Madonna and pulling it off really well. Tacky belt & earrings (not in a good way) but over all a great look.

.......Oh bugger no they haven't just a stupid flashback. Damn, damn, double damn.

Steal me these......

Pam Blogg

Seriously, how amazing does Pam Hogg look?!! Love her, that hair is totally amazing, next payday I'm getting it, no fear! Also I am having palpatations looking at her S/S 10 collection. Monochrome panelling, metallic PVC, fetish, sheer panels & power shoulders - this is a lust have collection. I love the way her and Siouxsie look like super-heroines in their jumpsuits. This is definitely 80's power dressing with futuristic dominatrix twist. Swoon!
