Scanners
Bought the Scanners boxset for 3 quid the other day and love em! First has gotta be a classic, well shot, great story and brilliant effects for the time. Highly recommended. Exploding heads, secret medical tests, telepathy & people taking over the world, all the makings of a killer movie.

Whatta man, whatta man etc.....
This has to be done, a list in pictures of all my male crushes (I will list my lady crushes at a later date.) This is so can all swoon at the amazing manly beauty of these men. Enjoy!
Firstly, the amazingly handsome Mickey Rourke. I don't care what anybody says, he was fit when he was younger and he still is. Wonky face or not, yum, cor and phwoar!
Could Benicio be any more hot? No I don't think so. Rugged mannish features, something a bit dangerous about him but a definite sensitive side. Swoon!
Mr Adrien Of Brody fame. I love his tenderness, he has the most amazing hands and the Polish look does it for every time. Plus the fact that he always plays amazing roles in his films. He's an acting chameleon and well that's all I need to say.

Oh yeah Joaquin is a hottie. I love his lisp, his herr lip, the way he looks in guyliner as a Roman Emperor and even think he looks hotter with a beard and slightly more insane.
Another guy with a lisp (can't resist em!) Christian Bale is amazing. I love him in American Psycho, deranged buff yuppie, In The Machinist, skinny and deranged, In the Shaft remaked, evil and yet again deranged and in Batman Begins & The Dark Knight, a superhero with a gruff voice. Yum scrum.
Dreamy Christopher Plummer as Captain Von Trapp, weird choice but come on. He looks beautiful. Strong & stern but sensitive and intelligent. *Sigh*
The one and only Ollie Reed, troubled but handsome a fuck. Gorgeous in Oliver and those big blue eyes I could fall right into. Swoony swoon.

In My Boudoir, With Nought But A Negligee To Cover My Modesty
You can't beat good vintage lingerie. Beautiful lace work, delicate embelishments, liquid silk, solid boning. I love the feminine charm and the extreme restrictions all together. Women of yesteryear did have amazing bodies anyway but the way this underwear made them look so pneumatic and hourglass shaped is perfection. What man could say no to a lady in these amazing creations?

Love To Hate You

Finger curls, Big Bangs, Quiffs, Victory Rolls, Roller Waves. Aren't the oldest hairstyles always the best? I love 30's, 40's & 50's hairstyles. So feminine and perfect, plus a big hairdo makes for looking slimmer (good trick!) Lots of hairspray, mousse & setting is requires but it takes us girls back to the time when staying to wash yr hair meant a good few hours work. How can anybody resist the pin-up look anyway. Vargas, yr work wasn't in vain my friend x
