Constriction

Recalling the New York Fetish scene captured by Robert Mapplethorpe. An unexpected hourglass silhouette prevails within constricted menswear.

This is featured in Dazed & Confused Magazine (which started off as a humble zine dontcha know!) Love the silhouettes it creates and what is also interesting is the use of constricting wear in the male form. Love the juxtaposition, beautiful

Chanel Paradis

Vanessa Paradis has taken her relationship with Chanel to the next level by letting the fashion house dress her for her latest silver screen appearance.

Appearing alongside Romain Duris and Andrew Lincoln in the French rom-com Heartbreaker, Paradis shows off an impeccable Chanel-led wardrobe - as well as an unmissable recreation of the iconic Dirty Dancing routine - in the film which is set for release in the UK on July 2.

I'm a street walkin' cheetah with a heart full of napalm......

Need to write a little somethin' somethin' about my dear friend Kurt Dirt. He's a lover not a fighter, he's brave & beautiful, sassy, sexy, creepy & crawly. He's part Drag part Glitter Band member. Part Grrrl part Dandy. He's a juxtaposition, a revolution, a shangri-la, a new york doll and a satirist. He could be straight out of a John Waters flick or straight outta motherfuckin' jail. He's blaxploitation, exploitation, dragsploitation. He's a muse & amusing. He's Dirt.

Kick It, Kick It, Kick It.

The electro-punk queen and boundary pushing digital pioneer Peaches discusses how she's managed to be a trendsetter for the past 20 years, how reinventing is the key to her success and development as an artist and how the digital revolution has helped her express her rabble rousing ideas. Although unafraid to shock, her live show is more than just mere provocation, as she uses new technologies to create something unique, visually arresting and above all, entertaining. One of the decades defining albums, The Teaches Of Peaches; the collaborative album Impeach My Bush featuring Feist, Joan Jett & Beth Ditto.
